Ok, you replaced, but you didn’t show what the actual problem was. Visually old and new parts look the same.

Thank you for posting! My Alpine radio requires the parking brake to be "engaged" to get to the settings mode. What that really means is that this switch is engaged. My parking brake indicator was not turning on so I figured it was the same issue as not turning off. This quick fix worked!

yeah I tried to replace my ignitor and the new one will not go through the hole in the back of the firebox ,it goes right up to the hole but not through it so the tip is even with the back of the firebox so I just sealed it up for now till I find out whats wrong. We are very unhappy as the control box is failing and I am not going to pay over $100.00 for 30 year old technology that has never been updated since day one.

Oh man this video was great. Made me feel better about my last attempt. I ordered the wrong size so I attempted to repair the old cart. I got new o-rings and pulled the inner part out but broke the little cheesy tabs. Ended up stuffing the old one back in so’s to stop the leak. Now my wife has been only able to use the hot. I’ve got the Moen 1248 carts sitting in my mailbox. Hopefully they fit! Fingers crossed. Thanks for the video!

We just had our boy, Chief, go through a double Tplo surgery yesterday. I am scared for my boy, he won't get up at all right now, but we aren't even 24 hours out of surgery.

My truck when I turn on the ignition switch and the parking brake light lights up but when it's pressed it won't come on? Also my door ajar light doesn't come on when door is opened is there fuses for them?

Drop in a few drops of hand soap and wait for a few minutes will help to pull out the cartridge

The morning after the first clear night after a big snowstorm is always cold, it’s about 10-20 degrees below normal.

I would kill to have snow last that long here in southern Tennessee. For us it usually lasts a day or less. It is a very very big abnormality if we get snow that lasts any more than a day or two

I just did this just a minute ago and learned the hard way that the stem should not be unscrewed when pulling the cartridge out. Makes taking it off easier. Just discard both after.

I wonder if snow melts faster in DC than Denver

Thank you for the video. I just completed the job. To pull the cartridge, I used the Danco 86712 core puller. I unscrewed the outer collar from the puller and put the puller inside the tube. I screwed the puller to the cartridge handle. I then turned the water on to give me an extra 40 lbs of thrust. I then pulled on the cartridge and it popped out. I was able to turn the water off quickly to not make too big of a mess.

Washington DC is way too south for having lang period of cold air. After Blizzard, snow normally goes almost as fast as it comes. That's the difference to the north of US/Canada where the snow between Blizzards does not melt and the snow can sum up during winter.

My igniter went years ago, so I just use a propane torch to light the pellets!! Works all the time!

Typical Mid-Atlantic snow-storm. These big ones hit every five to ten years and last about a week or so. One week a blizz, next week it's spring :) I'm always glad to see it snow, and then glad to see it go!
